Just a different perspective

Growing old is mandatory; Growing up is optional.
-          Chili Davis
Life has different stages but it is what you see and what you become. Growing up is not an easy task as we used to think when we were small.  Well here we are going to talk about how the life of person changes from school to college and further more. We all have passed this stage or will pass this stage once in our life time but what type of education are we getting here?
Albert Einstein correctly said that, “a single piece of paper cannot decide my future.” We all know that from starting of our school we are taught theory, but has anyone asked how we relate it with the things. Einstein used just 5% of his brain and he is called genius then what are the rest doing? Sitting somewhere and just waiting for change? It is said that there is no bigger school than curiosity, nowadays people are afraid of asking questions only.

But as we know that a child learns as he is taught and what he sees around in the environment. We ask a question to parent’s that what do you teach your child? Coming first in the examination? Killing his talent as he has to follow what the trend is following.

We heard a case that a student who is not even in 6th grade committed suicide, why because he scored 91% and his friends scored more than him and told that child that you are not as intelligent as us so make a separate group. Just look at the level of teaching, isn’t it funny that we teach them competition. Now just tell me who will teach them moral values, ethics, and who will go for their talent.

The best example I can give is Sachin Tendulkar. He has not completed his school also but what we see is he is the GOD of Cricket. There are many more examples in your life that you know but the most important thing we are trying to tell you is go for what you love. You just live once so make sure that you finish all the things that you dream of. It does not matter, what you do with your life or else what you do or else what type of education you have. All that matters is whether you have the knowledge or not.

Long time ago there was a naval ship which had some problem in its engine. The captain told the crew to find an engineer to repair it, the crew brought the best engineer the topper of its class but he could not repair it. Called another engineer but he also could not repair it then at last they found a mechanic who had a garage. He came with a bag handful of tools, looked around the engine and took a hammer and gently hammered the engine. He charged 10000 bucks for this work. Captain getting angry on him asked him a question, “For what do you charge 10000?” He replied that, “10 bucks are for hitting the hammer but 9990 are for knowing where to hit the hammer.”

The machine started but just the moral was knowledge is everything. It does not mean that we need not study at all but we all must always remember that education provides knowledge to change things and do great things.

Now let us take you to the real scenario of our Indian education system. What we learn here is full of theory. No one will be able to relate it with practical life until you are studying in a very good college or school. Let us look at the literacy rate. Literacy in India is a key for socio-economic progress, and the Indian literacy rate has grown to 74.04% (2011 figure) from 12% at the end of British rule in 1947. One of the main factors contributing to this relatively low literacy rate is the lack of proper school facilities as well as the sheer inefficiency of teaching staff across the government run education sector. Look as I told you it is what we teach. In India there is a major debate on sex education. We have seen that most of the people do not have sex education so they make blunders having more than one child and not even maintaining gap of 3 years before another child. We have gods who teach us all this having its remaining in Baihata, Kamrup, Assam known as Madan Kamdev.
They do literally have sculptures of sex positions. Well if those sculptures provide education to us why can’t our government provide education to us in earlier stage so that they do not have to spend much on advertising about sex education!

Another reason is caste discrimination. From the beginning we are taught about caste, following a religion is a very good thing but discriminating is another thing. People are judgmental and always judge people on the basis of their past experience. We ask you a question that are all the people same in the world? Well there is also a difference between a child and a father so how can you judge the whole caste on the basis of just one or two people.

It is said that one fish makes the whole pond dirty. Well we all see what it is shown but no one sees the practical side of the thing or we can say the other side of the coin. This is what the Indian society does, rather than educating the child how to live amongst each other with peace we are first taught with whom not to live. The child learns what he sees and it will always do and think the same way it has been taught.

We are here just to tell you that dream and wake up to fulfill your dream. We can make a difference in the society when we wish to make the change. Nobody talks about innovation, scarcity, needs etc. all we talk about is just showing off. Every generation comes with a talent unique from all the others who can make difference which will be great.

If you do something do it great, because doing good isn’t good enough nowadays.
                                                                                                                                                                                                                   -  Nimit Brahmbhatt

For doing great you don’t need to do it from the first stage, but you need to do something where no one can beat you; it will be called great. Remember when you fail you learn, success does not teach you that much as much as failure does.

Flaws in our education system

We all have grown up in an environment where we are taught to score good marks because life is full of competition and staying ahead is the only way, and that way is scoring better marks then other. Nobody now talks about creativity. We have always seen that what we are taught in theory we don’t have a proper knowledge of that in practical world.

The function of education is to teach one intensively and think critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education.
-          Martin Luther King, Jr.

By telling you this quote what we are trying to tell you is that there are many flaws of what and how a child has to be taught. Earlier what students were taught was self-realization. A key to unlock their full potential. We all know that Buddha was a king before he got self-realization by meditation. What we want to tell you is that schools should teach or implant a seed of curiosity in a child in order to bring change in the society.

In Indian education system theoretical knowledge is imposed on students instead of imparting practical knowledge to students. What we are taught is and what we should be taught is totally different. Yes, many students ask this question that why are they learning this theory which is all together a practical subject and the answer we get is that when we all will do the practical stuff we will be able to relate the theory with it. Is it logical to teach only theory to the students and tell them to relate when they do all the practical work themselves or it would be better to make them do things practically and teach theory relating to that. We understand that every time imparting just practical knowledge is not good but when it is required it is not good to teach theory in that. What we all have learnt is chemical formulae, trigonometric equations, and derivative equation of the formulae and names of the freedom fighters that fought for our country.

We are never imparted with the knowledge of what are the characteristics of that chemical and for what purposes they can be used. We are never taught why our freedom fighters did so much struggle as what were the consequences during that time that led to make such movements and were there any options available. Why should everyone cram trigonometry in high schools to score good marks. We all learn stuffs and get the knowledge of such things that has no daily use or else serves a very little purpose in life. There are various other problems which we will be discussing but our main aim is that you all should never lose your creativity and always ask a question why?

Another thing is that we are not taught how to do well as a citizen, be a successful citizen, start a business or carry out research on a topic. What we are taught is how to clear exams and score good marks. Well we all know that we have lots of exams in India after schools in short periodical span of 4-5 years. In the process, student loose interest in sports, creative pursuits and everything else that could be important. This also led to promoting private tuitions where they only teach to clear exams. Students who clear these tests and go in best schools lose interest in extra-curricular activities, this is not the case with everyone but happens to majority of the people. Learn to ask questions and have the curiosity to know the things. Albert Einstein was not a master in beginning but he was curios enough to know why and how things happened. Criticize what you don’t like and appreciate what you like.

Criticism has to be done without mercy as well as appreciation should be done heartily.

Universe Within

It has been a long time I am writing a blog. There have been certain changes in my area of interest which turned into ancient Indian civilization and things related to it. It amazed me when I found out that the answers are already there or else they have been kept secretly hiding from all of us to the questions which all of us might have. Well questions like how did we evolved? About physics, chemistry, space, the universe and much more than that.

From my research and my friend's research (Harsh Desai) I found out there there are many things we already know and the end result comes to just one thing i.e. Vedas and Bhagvad Gita. I dont understand that there is so much written in Bhagvad Gita that know one ever tried to see all those readings in some other perspective. One of the interesting thing I found out is 'Kriya Yoga'. It is the most ancient form of yoga; even here learning these yoga has certain rules in itself and all this is written in Bhagvad Gita. Kriya Yoga being the ancient form of Yoga tells us that in total there are 64 dimensions in the universe. As we have the ability to sense only 3 dimensions, we are not able to see much of the universe. Doing this Yoga a man learns about the dimensions and tries to unlock them. It is said that for a human being to go to a higher world the human has to conquer 8 dimensions, while going higher in every dimension human will be capable of doing things which he has never thought of.

Well this one of the things I found and I thought of sharing it with all so even they can do research about it.
Even I am trying to find out more about Kriya Yoga as it is a very rare type of Yoga. Rare just because it was lost in between many ages.

It is just the hope of mine for finding out the answers to the questions that I have and I am able to do such research.

Planned Conspiracy?

Right now i wont be focusing on my grammar but want to discuss what is on my mind.

In the recent happenings in India many of the questions which are there in my mind are coming out that Maggi is banned in may of the states in India after the tests which confirmed the presence of Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) where as Maggi writes on it's packet that 'NO MSG ADDED'. Maggi claims that tests done by independent agencies approved by Indian Govt. says that all the ingredients are in its proper amount but tests done by FSSAI  shows that there are in total 9 ingredients that are in higher quantities which are not approved by the government.

Whom shall we believe?
The government or Nestle

There are certain other things which made me question myself that even tobacco companies who produces cigarettes should also be banned but they are not banning cigarettes or we can say the same goes for alcohol if our government really cares for us. Cigarette packets clearly mentions that smoking kills.
Recent news while I was surfing the net found that now Ramdevji has announced that Patanjali will now come as an alternative for Maggi to be named as 'Seedhi Sev' which soon will be available in the market.

Well now a question arises that is it a planned conspiracy to gain entry in the market? Or something else?
My doubt still remains that there have been many instances of the government which have embarrassed a lot of Indians during the UPA government and have made people to put doubt to the law and government also (Vodafone case: Where the government passed bill stating to Vodafone company that the law was passed way before).

My question still remains that is it a planned conspiracy or something else?

Motivation always

This is something related to my new event which always motivates me..

A quote of mine "if you do something do it great, because doing good isnt good enough nowadays."

This lines always gives me motivation

Society now a days is designed for you to be average.

Think about it...what are you taught your entire life?

FOLLOW DIRECTIONS.

You are not taught to think for yourself.

You are not taught to find a better way.

You are taught not to break the rules....and NOTHING great was ever built by following the rules...especially a great life.

Its no longer..."you can be anything you want". Now its...point at the guy that has done something great and say "He got lucky". Now its..."That life isnt for you". Now its..."everyone gets a trophy". Now its "there are no winners or losers". Society wants you to be average.

It NEEDS you to be average.

Society needs people to give up on their hearts desires and accept what they are given.

It needs you to accept a job you dont love.

It needs you to be buried in debt.

It needs you to struggle.

It feeds you a constant story of "luck" and "overnight success" to make you lose hope in yourself and believe that you are not in control of your outcome.

The real reason people dont succeed is because they dont do the fucking work. Period.

Sure, you may "show up" everyday.

You may even get there early & stay late.

But time "served" does not equal productivity, efficiency or progress.

Every mile.

Every step.

Every inch of the journey is going to require your 100% effort, 100% focus and 100% pride in the details of your work.

At work this is every job, every conversation, every interaction, every project, every task.

At the gym its 100% effort & focus on every every set, every rep.

At home its how you mow your grass, how you make your bed & how you treat your family.

Success in any area comes down to taking pride in every seemingly insignificant detail of your life.

People that succeed put in the work...perfectly...consistently...with pride in the outcome.

People that dont...dont.

There is no magic.

There is no luck.

There is no MAYBE or WHAT IF.

Do the fucking work.
Do it perfectly.

Do it consistently.

Or dont bitch about how life fucked you over.
