'Festivals' have become a part of our life. Till my knowledge there are 12 months and 13 festivals which make someone's living...in a way we all remain connected to each other. No one knows what is the bonding but may it be anything, people forget what they are and celebrate with each other. Talking about recent events that is Ganesh Chaturthi no one knows how and when it started but it did make a difference in uniting the people celebrating lord ganesh's birthday. What we all know is history but what happens today is that no one takes into account. It is the same amount of responsibility to take care of our rivers as that to celebrate. Yes, during visarjan what happens is we all enjoy and dance but simultaneously we pollute our rivers and ponds etc. We all dont take that into consideration that it is our responsibility.
We all complain to government about pollution in rivers, ponds, etc..but what are we doing to protect it? What are we doing to make a difference? Mostly all of us use statue made up of plaster of paris which is difficult to dissolve in water and pollutes it.
A small step can make a difference all you need is to stand for that and raise your voice.
